Zulu is the Answer!

The words sung at the beginning of the song "Circle of Life" in Lion King, are in Zulu!
The topic was brought up in History, and since I have wondered my ENTIRE life what was actually said, I decided to crack the code!

Zulu words to opening verse of "Circle of Life," Lion King.

Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba[Here comes a lion, Father]
Sithi uhm ingonyama[Oh yes, it's a lion]
Nants ingonyama bagithi baba
Sithi uhhmm ingonyama
Ingonyama
Siyo Nqoba [We're going to conquer]
Ingonyama
Ingonyama nengw' enamabala [A lion and a leopard come to this open place]
---

The opening lyrics of “The Circle of Life” are lines translated into and sung in A REAL LANGUAGE; one that is spoken by over 10 million people, including 95% of South Africa. The opening of “The Circle of Life” is in Zulu, the language of the Zulu people.

Check It Out!

I found this cool, online magazine: http://passionwebmag.com/ while doing some searching! You should give it a chance! :)

What is love? (Baby don't hurt me. :b)

Sadly, the true meaning of love has been consumed, chewed up, and spit back out by the world, giving us all such a distorted view of the truth behind the little word.

Here is the definition of love:
1.a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.
2. a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.

3.to have a strong liking for; take great pleasure in.
4.to need or require; benefit greatly from.
Here is God's definition of Love:

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

God created love to be such a beautiful thing, to be a beautiful representation of His love for Us. I mean, that is the Ultimate example. (Greater love hath no man than to lay down one's life for his friends.)
It really does break my heart to see teenagers throwing themselves away while chasing after the lusts of their flesh, chasing after the image of love this world has created. Let me tell you, it's a fraud.

I wanna give a shoutout to one of my bestfriends & she knows who she is. She has never had a boyfriend and never kissed one either, and I respect her so much for that. It's going to be beautiful to see her walk down the aisle someday and give herself to her husband, a beautiful, unwrapped package.
I just want to encourage you to think about Him, your future husband. Think about what you can do now to someday bring him the most honor and respect. Although, I want you first and foremost to think about what you are doing to honor our Father in Heaven. For, by honoring Him, you will also honor your future husband. Think about who you want to be standing at that altar.

Although, don't be discouraged. For, the past doesnt define who you are. So, if you have done things you aren't proud of, like myself, don't spend
another moment dwelling on your past and the guys
that may fill your memories. Free them and you
free yourselves. So, just look at the beautiful
canvas and Be who you want to be. Be who God wants you to be: Pure and in love with Him, saving your heart for your husband. :)

Fresh Starts.

Don't you just love getting to look at a piece of paper that is simply waiting to be filled with new ideas, simply waiting to be made into a great story or a meaningful poem? I sure do! (Unless of course it's waiting for me to do my Algebra 2 homework.;)
Either way, there's just something about beginnings. Whether it's the simple excitement of starting something new, or the endless possiblities of what is going to happen. I mean, think about it. When a baby is born, everyone rushes to the hospital to invite the little one into the world, to congratulate the parents, and to offer any help they can on raising up the little child. It's so exciting because the baby's life is new, it's un-damaged.. it's pure.
The most exciting thing, to me, about fresh starts is that we have the opportunity to have those any second of the day. Whether or not situations are different, we have the choice to handle them differently. God is so loving and gracious and merciful that at any time when we mess up, when we do something we are ashamed of and need forgiveness, He is always right there to offer it.
I don't know why, but this has just been somethin on my heart, so I thought it would be a nice first post.
Kind of ironic, because this is the second blog I've had, and it is definitely exciting to be able to just fill it with all sorts of fun things. :)
2 Corinthians 5:17
If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away, all things have become new!
